Which FAR 135 regulations are covered by APG’s data?

Here’s how APG addresses the key regulations:

135.379 – Takeoff Limitations (35 ft rule + accelerate-stop):

  • APG uses certified AFM Section 5 data, including balanced field length tables that account for the 35 ft obstacle clearance and accelerate-stop requirements.
  • V1 speeds are calculated using V1 mini from the AFM performance charts, ensuring compliance.

135.385 – Landing Limitations at Destination (60% rule):

  • APG provides a “60% Landing Factor” option.
  • In ATLAS reports, this is shown in the “60% FACTOR” column.

135.387 – Landing Limitations at Alternate (70% rule):

  • This rule applies only to turboprop aircraft.
  • For turbojet aircraft, the 60% landing factor still applies—even at alternate airports.
  • APG typically does not offer a 70% option for turbojets unless specifically requested.
135.389 – Takeoff Limitations for Non-Transport Category Aircraft:
  • For aircraft like the DA-2000 Classic (a transport category jet), this section is not applicable.
  • However, APG ensures that any applicable V-speeds and performance limits from the AFM are respected.
