Is the All Engines Operating Speed (VAEO) always equal to V2 + 10 knots? Why don’t some aircraft have VAEO listed on the TOLD card?
VAEO is not always exactly V2 + 10 knots, though that is a common approximation. APG will display VAEO on the TOLD card only when it is explicitly available from the Aircraft Flight Manual (AFM) or another authoritative OEM source. If VAEO is missing from the TOLD card, it means that APG could not determine it from the available OEM documentation. APG has not yet implemented VAEO values for all aircraft types, so availability is handled on a case-by-case basis.
