What options are available to adjust my route?
From Maps, in the Plan sub-tab, options include:
- Tap the Routes button. Select from the routes displayed.
- Tap the flight level in the Altitude column to change altitudes for that route.
- Tap the Alts Button.
- Select a take-off alternate and up to two arrival alternates.
- Tap the Procs (Procedures) button.
- Select a new or different SID, STAR, and/or transition.
- Tap a “bubble” in the route line.
- Select Delete from the upper-right corner of the pop-up.
- Tap the text edit button (to the right of the editor area, above the trash can) to manually edit the route.
From Maps, on the map, options include:
- Double tap a route point on the map and use Insert on the pop-up that displays.
- Tap a spot on the route, then drag to where you want to move the route and remove your finger from the screen (called “Rubberbanding”). Choose a waypoint.
From anywhere in the app:
- Enter a waypoint in the Search field, then select Insert.
- Choose where you want to place the map point in the Insert Point pop-up.
Pilot ONE recalculates performance and fuel any time the route changes.
